Kao & Janeeyeh fly to Japan to shoot Love Design in Kitakyushu‘เก้า-เจนเย่’ บินลัดฟ้าสู่ญี่ปุ่น ลุยถ่ายซีรีส์ Love Design ที่คิตะคิวชู
After VelCurve Studio, the studio behind the film URANUS2324, unveiled its new GL (Girls' Love) romantic-comedy series Love Design (Rab Rak Aokbaeb), director Fuse Kittisak Cheewasajjasakul and producer James Thanadol Nuansit led a crew of more than 40, together with leads Kao Supassra and Janeeyeh Methika and co-stars Friend Torfan and Palm Paramee, to shoot in Kitakyushu, Japan. The production was welcomed by Kitakyushu Mayor Mr. Kazuhisa Takeuchi, who visited the set, and renowned Japanese actor So Takei also joins the cast.
Boss Keetawat Chinnakote, CEO and Executive Producer of VelCurve Studio, said: 'Kitakyushu has a unique charm in its nature, architecture and culture that suits the characters' story. The series is about architects, and Kitakyushu is home to the famous architect Arata Isozaki, with beautiful architecture that is perfect for filming. VelCurve worked with the Kitakyushu Film Commission and the local team to plan, choose locations and schedule the shoot so that everything ran as smoothly as possible.
'We also planned logistics and safety in detail. Kitakyushu, in the north of Kyushu, has both mountain and sea views. It is an old city that blends traditional Japanese culture with modernity, quiet yet full of inspiration. Our main locations were Kokura Castle, Mojiko Retro and the Wakato Bridge, and we were honoured to have Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi visit the set to encourage the crew and cast.'
Kao Supassra said of the trip: 'It was my first time in this city and I was so excited. I envy the people here: the weather is great and the views are so beautiful that during rehearsals everyone pulled out their phones for selfies, because every angle is stunning. At first I worried the cold would be hard, but with the beautiful scenery and the Japanese crew supporting us, it felt like a warm shoot that took the tiredness away.'
Janeeyeh Methika added: 'Please follow this series. We worked with the famous Japanese actor Mr. So Takei. How beautiful the images will be and how it will feel, I cannot say too much or I will spoil it (laughs). Please support Kao's and my first GL series. We are a new pair in the GL world, but we will do our best to bring these characters to life. We might just make many of you smile without realising it.'

“บอส–คีตะวัฒน์ ชินโคตร” CEO & Executive Producer : เวลเคิร์ฟ สตูดิโอ เผยว่า “เมืองคิตะคิวชู ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เป็นเมืองที่มีเสน่ห์เฉพาะตัว ธรรมชาติ สถาปัตยกรรม วัฒนธรรม เหมาะกับเรื่องราวของตัวละครในซีรีส์ ซึ่งเนื้อเรื่องจะเกี่ยวกับสถาปนิก และเมืองคิตะคิวชูก็มีสถาปนิกชื่อดังอย่าง คุณอาราตะ อิโซซากิ มีสถาปัตยกรรมที่สวยงามเหมาะมากกับการถ่ายทำ โดยทางเวลเคิร์ฟฯ ร่วมกับ KITAKYUSHU FILM COMMISSION ทีมงานจากเมืองคิตะคิวชู ร่วมกันวางแผน เลือกโลเคชั่น จัดตารางถ่ายทำเพื่อให้การทำงานราบรื่นที่สุด
ยังมีการวางแผนด้านลอจิสติกส์ และความปลอดภัยอย่างละเอียดด้วยครับ ซึ่งเมืองคิตะคิวชู เป็นเมืองทางตอนเหนือของเกาะคิวชู ที่มีทั้งวิวภูเขา และทะเล ถือว่าเป็นเมืองเก่าที่ผสมผสานระหว่างวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นดั้งเดิมกับความโมเดิร์นอย่างลงตัว เป็นเมืองที่เงียบสงบแต่เปี่ยมไปด้วยแรงบันดาลใจ โลเคชั่นหลักๆ ก็มีปราสาทโคคุระ (Kokura Castle ) , Mojiko Retro และ Wakato Bridge ซึ่งเรายังได้รับเกียรติจากท่าน “คาซึฮิสะ ทาเคอุจิ” นายกเทศมนตรีเมืองคิตะคิวชูที่ได้มาเยี่ยมมาให้กำลังใจทีมงานและนักแสดงที่กองถ่ายด้วยครับ
ด้านนักแสดง “เก้า สุภัสสรา” เผยถึงการมาทำงานในครั้งนี้ว่า “เป็นครั้งแรกที่เคยมาเมืองนี้ ตื่นเต้นมาก อิจฉาคนที่นี่เลยเพราะอากาศดี วิวสวยมากถึงขนาดที่ช่วงซ้อมก่อนถ่าย ทุกคนต้องยกมือถือขึ้นมาถ่ายรูปเซลฟี่เก็บไว้ เพราะสวยทุกมุมจริงๆ ตอนแรกกลัวอากาศหนาวว่าจะอยู่ยากมั้ย แต่พอได้เจอวิวสวยๆ เจอพี่ๆทีมงานฝั่งญี่ปุ่นคอยซัพพอร์ตด้วย ทำให้รู้สึกว่าเป็นการทำงานที่อบอุ่นและหายเหนื่อยเลยค่ะ
ส่วน “เจนเย่ เมธิกา” อยากฝากให้ทุกคนได้ติดตามดูซีรีส์เรื่องนี้ด้วยนะคะ เราได้ร่วมงานกับนักแสดงชื่อดังของญี่ปุ่น คุณ “ทาเคอิ โซ” (Mr.So Takei) มาร่วมแสดงด้วย ภาพจะออกมาสวยขนาดไหน ฟีลจะออกมาเป็นยังไง พูดมากไม่ได้ค่ะเดี๋ยวจะสปอยเกินไป(หัวเราะ) ฝากผลงานซีรีส์ GL เรื่องแรกของพี่เก้าและเจนด้วยนะคะ เราเป็นคู่น้องใหม่ในวงการ GL แต่ก็จะพยายามและตั้งใจและถ่ายทอดตัวละครออกมาให้ดีที่สุด ไม่แน่เราอาจจะทำให้หลายๆคนแอบยิ้มโดยไม่รู้ตัวก็ได้ค่ะ ฝากติดตามผลงานด้วยค่ะ”
